Waxy O'Connors

Waxy’s is a unique venue; comprising 9 different areas, which include 6 bars! With such a choice of areas available, Waxy's can accommodate a wide variety of events, such as birthday parties (21st and up), fundraisers, retirements, wakes, engagement parties, and corporate events - from 800 people to more intimate affairs.  We serve bar food every day until 8.45pm – including breakfast from 10am Saturday and 11am Sunday, plus a Sunday roast menu.

  • An image of Waxy O'Connor's "Cottage," semi-private dining space. The room is decorated in dark woods and with leather furnishings. The walls are panelled in rustic planks while the ceiling is ornately carved with blue stained glass details in the reliefs. Dark tables are arranged around the edge of the building against red leather benches, brown leather chairs face them. Carved posts and railings at the left end of the space separate it from further dining rooms.

  • An interior image of the ornately decorated "Library" space. The room has polished wooden floors and intricately carved wall and ceiling panels. Brass ceiling lights and wall sconces with small lampshades light the space with golden light. The far, left wall is dominated by the top arch of a large window. Dark wooden tables and traditional, upholstered chairs and benches line the edge of the room, besides a large, ornate fireplace flanked by leather bound books.
