About this venue
Pollok House is a beautiful stately home set in the scenic Pollok Country Park, just 15 minutes’ drive from Glasgow city centre.
The house was built in the 18th century and sympathetically extended in the early 20th century – offering a venue that combines Georgian grandeur and Edwardian elegance. Think Jane Austen meets Downton Abbey!
Upstairs, the family rooms – including the Library (opening onto the manicured Parterre Garden), Drawing Room, and Dining Room – are ideal for champagne receptions and gala dinners.
Downstairs, the extent of the tiled passageway is an eye-opener to the scale of work it took to run this magnificent house. The Edwardian Kitchen and Servants’ Hall offer flexible spaces for meetings and Scottish ceilidh dances. For larger events, marquees can be erected on the riverside lawn.
Pollok House is renowned for its impressive collection of Spanish art, as well as works by Raeburn and Guthrie. Visitors can also enjoy temporary exhibitions in the new Gallery.
Private guided tours, murder mystery dinners, 1920s themed parties, summer barbecues and team-building activities all feature in the myriad of possibilities available at Pollok House. Our dedicated event team will work with you to create a truly unique and unforgettable event.
