About this venue
St Mungo Museum of Religious Life and Art was the first museum in the world to look at all major religions together. It features objects of great beauty.
The museum collection shows the inspirational role of religion throughout history and the lives of our fathers and ourselves. A clean, bright and airy function room allows for flexibility and overlooks the Cathedral Square and the only permanent Zen garden in the United Kingdom which, during the summer months is ideal as a break-away area. The garden is accessed directly from the function room through arched glass doorways.
The museum has many viewing areas and exhibits that encourage topical and meaningful discussion. Guests find this venue one of great satisfaction and appeal; indulge them; allow them to quietly view the collection privately in the early evening after a day time practical or brainstorming workshop.
This unusual venue affords you and your guests or participants the opportunity to bathe in the balance between creativity and tranquillity.
Journey through the universal themes of life, death and the hereafter, presented through beautiful and evocative objects. Enjoy this special experience!
