Atlantic Bar and Brasserie is located on the Lower Ground Floor at 12-16 St Vincent Place and if you think that address sounds familiar, you are right, Atlantic is right underneath another DRG restaurant, Glasgow’s iconic The Anchor Line.
The Atlantic restaurant is steeped in Glasgow’s rich history. In 1938 The Empire Exhibition was held at Bellahouston Park and due to The Anchor Line’s renown for luxury and food, they were invited to open a restaurant as part of the exhibition which saw 12 million people from around the globe visit our fair city. But we haven’t delved into the past and recreated a 1930's brasserie, we welcome you into a cool and contemporary brasserie restaurant that showcases the best of French food, plus a full rotisserie and Robata grill in the open kitchen.
Our rotisserie, so popular in France, serves delicious marinated and roasted chickens, turned on the spit right in front of you and can be ordered for one or to share with friends and family; a great option for that perfect Sunday lunch out, a whole roasted chicken and all the trimmings and no washing up!
Our A La Carte menu is a heady mix of contemporary and classic French dishes, from Escargots and Pâte de Foie Volaille, classic French onion soup to moules and frites, rich Bouillabaisse and sumptuous swordfish, with our rotisserie serving chicken cooked Provencal style and the best Scottish steaks from the robata grill, Atlantic Bar and Brasserie has something for all tastes, all served with a soupçon of French panache.
