First Travel Solutions (FTS) is the UK managed transport division of FTSE200 listed FirstGroup plc, the UK’s leading transport company.

We specialise in managing the ground transport requirements of our clients by coach, bus, minibus and taxi. With an approved supplier base of c.1,500 companies, we have excellent coverage across the UK. So, if you’re heading to Glasgow from further afield we can still find you great value transport. 

FTS invests a great deal of effort in maintaining 3 x ISO accreditations which we hold for Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety Management. These demonstrate our due diligence with our suppliers and effectively cover our clients’ Duty of Care responsibilities towards their travellers.

We work with a huge range of clients and projects, from world-class events such as the Olympic and Commonwealth Games, through to a 1-off vehicle requirement for a company team meeting. As such, planning airport transfers and inter-event travel is something that we are very used to. Our team of experts can advise on the number of vehicles required for any work and we can also provide transport expertise to sit alongside your own events team, or Marshalls to deal with larger numbers of passengers.

We pride ourselves on the quality of the work that we deliver.  This means that we do not surcharge our clients after agreeing a deal and we won’t let you down by cancelling your work at the last minute.  Should a vehicle breakdown whilst engaged in your work, we will immediately get a local replacement out to get passengers on the move as quickly as possible.
