Glaschu

Modern Scottish fine-dining and sophisticated new bar in the heart of Glasgow. Glaschu (pronounced Glas-a-hoo) is the Scottish Gaelic for Glasgow, meaning ‘dear green place’.

  • A stylish "flat-lay" photograph of a Glaschu dining table. A table laid with a dark green cloth is decorated with 2 minimal plates of beef wellington, roasted carrots and small jugs of gravy. Rustic sides plates hold creamed potatoes and steamed green vegetables. A bottle of red wine, silverware and a small brown glass vase of dried flowers complete the arrangement.

  • An exterior image of Glaschu's entrance. A grand, blonde sandstone building over 3 storey's, beside a paved pedestrianised area. Planters and banners separate a small private area of outdoor seating from the walkway to the left of the entrance, diners sit at 2 of the tables, either side of a stylish space heater. The first story windows of the building are decorated with colourful vinyls in organic "blobby" shapes. A white and gold letter sits prominently in each window, reading "GLASCHU".
