Make your Next Stop Glasgow for IEEE

Glasgow is a city with unique engineering heritage, and has been proud host to IEEE Conferences for over 30 years, welcoming more IEEE Conferences than any other city in the UK outside London.
Home to one of the most collaborative and dynamic innovation economies in Europe, Glasgow has a vibrant and engaged IEEE Community.

We chose to host IEEE Cyber Science in Glasgow as it's a vibrant, friendly city, with excellent travel links to the rest of Scotland, and beyond.
IEEE Cyber Science is an international, refereed conference, and will benefit the city by providing links with experts in the field of cyber security. Additionally, this will provide delegates with the opportunity to explore the rich cultural heritage and scenery of Scotland, which is a top destination. Dr Lynsay Shepherd, lecturer in Cyber Security at Abertay University

Glasgow Convention Bureau created a bespoke Glasgow IEEE Tartan to celebrate the city's proud 30 year history of hosting IEEE conferences.

The IEEE Glasgow Tartan celebrates the 'clan' that is IEEE, the fabric was created using traditional methods, woven in Scotland. The design incorporates IEEE colours and blends with the flag of Scotland. The colours were chosen to represent the IEEE brand; blue represents knowledge, integrity, expertise and stability, while white represents light, safety and purity.

The IEEE Glasgow Tartan can be purchased online from Ingles Buchan.
